Terms and Conditions
These terms explain use of this website and how an enquiry relates to a proposed service. They do not replace the quotation and agreement for a particular job, and they do not remove your statutory consumer rights.

Website and enquiry contact
This website uses the trading name Mould Remediation London. Contact office@mouldremediationlondon.co.uk or 020 4600 5416. The published correspondence address is Wharf Road, Islington, London, N1 7EU. Tell us the property address, affected areas and the purpose of your enquiry.
Mould Remediation London may act as an introductory contact for service providers. Before accepting work, establish who is supplying it, who is issuing the quotation and who will be your contracting party. The provider should be identified in the job agreement. A website enquiry alone does not establish that a particular provider has accepted your job.
Information on the website
Service pages provide general information about mould treatment and moisture concerns. They are not a diagnosis of your building from its postcode, a photograph or one visible mark. The appropriate assessment and treatment depend on the property, accessible areas and agreed purpose of the visit.
Website information is not an emergency response service, medical advice, legal opinion or a full structural survey. Active water escape or apparently unsafe damage may require immediate assistance from the appropriate repair professional. Explain any urgent condition when discussing the enquiry rather than assume that an inspection will stop an active leak.
Scope, quotation and agreement
Before agreeing work, the quotation should identify the supplier, affected areas, tasks included, relevant access limits, price or basis of calculation and payment arrangements. Ask for unclear items to be explained. Any written findings or specific reporting requirement should be agreed in advance.
Mould treatment, moisture investigation, source repairs and decorative restoration are different tasks. Do not assume a proposal includes plumbing repairs, roof work, replacement finishes or every connected part of a building. Related work and any further charges require a clear agreement rather than an automatic addition to the original scope.
General information or an initial conversation is not a universal fixed quote. A change to the proposed work should be explained and agreed with the responsible customer. Keep a copy of the quotation, confirmed arrangements and any agreed variation.
Access and relevant information
Provide accurate information about the property and your authority to arrange access or work. Tell the provider about locked rooms, fitted items, high ceilings and shared areas requiring another person’s permission. Do not disturb unsafe materials or move heavy furniture just to make an enquiry.
Preparation requirements should follow the agreed visit. Where a relevant area cannot be reached, the assessment should explain its limitation. A visit to one accessible room should not be presented as an inspection of every concealed or adjoining area in the building.
Treatment and ongoing moisture
The proposed treatment should relate to the assessed material and surface condition. Suitable anti-fungal applications may form part of remediation, while damaged material or a continuing moisture source may require separate action. Ask how the recommended tasks fit together before arranging decoration.
Surface treatment should not be taken as a blanket guarantee that mould can never return. Continuing moisture and changes to a property can affect later conditions. This does not excuse defective work or remove your right to question a service that was not delivered as agreed.
Consumer rights and cancellation
Where you contract as a consumer, services must be supplied with reasonable care and skill. Your applicable statutory rights remain in force. The supplier’s agreement cannot fairly remove those rights simply by using a disclaimer on a website.
Some service agreements made at a distance or away from business premises carry cancellation rights, commonly a 14-day period, subject to the applicable rules and exceptions. The contracting supplier should explain the rights that apply, how to cancel and any lawful consequences of requesting an early start before you agree.
An urgent enquiry does not by itself mean you have waived every cancellation right. Any request to start within a cancellation period and the relevant information should be recorded appropriately. This website does not impose an automatic cancellation fee or make a deposit non-refundable by default. Discuss the actual agreement with the named supplier.
Questions and complaints about work
If you have a concern, keep the quotation, work dates and a description of the problem. Contact the provider responsible for the service so it can consider the issue. Where the concern involves the enquiry or an introduction made through this website, contact the website email or telephone number above.
Explain the outcome you are seeking. An introduction does not transfer every provider record to the website, but it should be clear who needs to respond to your complaint. Nothing here prevents you from using available consumer remedies or seeking independent advice.
Using links and website materials
Use the website lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with its operation or access restricted administration areas without permission. You may read and share links to the public information. Copying material for publication elsewhere may require permission from its rights holder.
Links to independent guidance are provided for context. The linked organisation is responsible for its own pages, and following a link does not make it a service supplier for your property. For a practical overview of the available routes, see our Services page.
Privacy and changes to these terms
Our Privacy Policy explains information connected with website and property enquiries. Check the named provider’s privacy information for data it handles separately. Only share another person’s details when you are entitled to do so.
Website terms may be updated when arrangements change. Changes should not rewrite a service agreement you have already accepted without an appropriate agreement or legal basis. The date above identifies this version; keep the supplier’s own quotation and terms for the job you commission.
